However, one regular customer is a tall, handsome, and mysterious man only a few years older than her. He comes in every day to their smoke-free restaurant with a pack of cigarettes and a lighter, always forgetting about the no smoking policy even though Mei constantly nags him every time. After one fateful encounter in the rain, they begin seeing each other outside the restaurant. He finds out that she's never had a boyfriend, and she learns his name is Chikage. From then on, Chikage promises to teach her everything about love and romance.
