What is the personality type of Andrea “Andy” Sachs? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Andrea “Andy” Sachs from The Devil Wears Prada 2006 and what is the personality traits.
Andrea “Andy” Sachs personality type is ENFP, an extrovert who loves nature, nature, nature. Andy Sachs is one of my favorite ENFPs in fiction. He’s a chatty, perceptive, natural-born leader who’s often mistaken for being a jerk because he has a big mouth and he says what he thinks.
Some people are quick to dismiss Andy Sachs as a stereotype. You know, the perceptive, overtly extroverted, perky, goofy guy with glasses who’s just “too nice”. I can see why in some cases you might not want to write him in your story. He is in some ways a stereotype. He is in some ways annoying. He can be a bit of a “cliché” even.
But if you write him, you’ll notice that he can be witty and kind and perceptive and always entertaining. And because he’s an ENFP, his biggest character flaw is that he sometimes jumps to conclusions and sometimes gets impatient and sometimes talks too much.
And I LOVE these flaws.
