Joseph Joestar personality type is ESTP, the only one in the series confirmed to be an ESTP. The only other possible ESTP personalities are WOLF, DIO, and SHIRAH. Jojo's personality is similar to that of Joseph's father, Jonathan Joestar, who also tends to be hot-headed and impulsive, but in his case it is due to his concern for his family. Joseph has so far only shown the "natural" version of his personality, but he has also shown the "artificial" version of it (the one that is shown when he is in danger) when he encounters Pucci.
His relationship with his family is complex, both because of their differences in personality, but also because they are not aware of his stand abilities; he is often exasperated by his family's tendency to put their desire for their own safety over his (for example, when he refused to run away with them or when he refused to tell them his stand ability), and becomes even more exasperated when they try to kill him without knowing he is a Stand user. Joseph Joestar is a fictional character in the Japanese manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. Joseph is the main protagonist of the series' second story arc, Battle Tendency, and the grandson of the first arc's protagonist, Jonathan Joestar. Having been brought up by his grandmother Erina and family friend Speedwagon, he developed a coarser and more rebellious attitude than that of his gentlemanly grandfather, but the character still has a noble heart. While able to use the supernatural power Hamon like his grandfather, Joseph is not initially as skilled in its use until he trains under Lisa Lisa. He initially uses a pair of Hamon-empowered clackers in battle, but relies more on mind games rather than brute strength in fights, employing his uncanny ability to predict his opponent's actions down to what they say.
