Cosmo personality type is INFP, so naturally he would be a little introverted, but this is not what I’m talking about. I believe that online dating is the most introverted form of social interaction that exists. You have to have an active imagination to use it, and INFPs are the only type who have active imaginations.
I’ve known people who read my profiles on dating websites and then took the time to write me long, thoughtful messages to tell me how much they like my profile. Other people told me that they had read my profile and then actually used my name as their screen name.
These are both INFP-type behavior.
I can’t understand how other types can possibly use online dating and still think it’s a good idea.
The reason I digress:
Most of my online dating experiences were with other INFPs, and I don’t want to hear about how opposites attract or how we naturally gravitate to each other. I’m not even talking about personality similarities. We all know that personality similarities do exist, but personality is only part of the attraction.
