Stella personality type is ESFP, so I was doubly excited to be meeting her at this event. The event's organizer, Kim, texted me a week beforehand to "ask for my E!" She does that a lot.
When I arrived, Kim greeted me with a huge smile, which made me feel better about the last hour of my life. She was very excited to meet me, which alleviated any nervousness I had about meeting another ESFP.
Kim had also brought Stella with her. I had never met Stella before, but I had read her book and seen her on Dr. Phil. I was feeling confident that she would be great. I was wrong.
Stella was cold and distant. We chatted for about five minutes before coming to the main question I had for her: How did she know what to do with her life?
She answered with some very generalized answers about being the best you can be. I just wanted to know how she had figured that out, seeing as she had no decent job skills. She talked about being supportive of her family, but she didn't seem very supportive of herself.
It was clear that Stella had some issues to work through.
