Brandon personality type is ESTP, a type that is only a little more common than the INTP, and which is almost totally hidden from most people. We will discuss ESTPs in a later chapter.
One of the problems with the MBTI type is that it is not as accurate as it could be for certain types. In particular, it is not as accurate as it could be for those types which are less common than the most common type.
The MBTI Type Indicator is the only test which purports to give a person’s MBTI type from birth. However, the test is very limited in scope, and does not tell a person his or her type. It can only tell a person’s type after the person has taken the test a few times, and then looked at the results.
The MBTI test is valid for people who have taken it a few times, and who did not change their type. However, it is not valid for types that are less common than the most common type. The MBTI test is not valid for types that are very rare, or very common. As mentioned earlier, many people who take the MBTI test do change their type. But this does not invalidate the test.
