They are detail-oriented, think things through and focus on solving problems. Sensors have a relatively low threshold for what they are willing to do. They are focused on the present, and enjoy being active. Thinking types will not take action without analyzing the situation first. They also think about what information is needed to make a decision. Perceivers are spontaneous and enjoy action. They are open to possibilities and change often. They are direct and like to have a clear plan.
As ISTPs, we have a preference for being alone and independent. We don’t like to be controlled or directed by others. We prefer to analyze the situation and arrive at a conclusion on our own. We want to be in charge of our own lives and not be told what to do. We like to do things by ourselves, but we do need to be taken seriously if we want to be taken seriously.
We are also focused on the present and enjoy being active. We prefer to find out information first, then decide how to act upon it.
