Christi Lukasiak was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 2, 1993. Her father is a truck driver and her mother is a homemaker. Lukasiak has one older brother and one younger sister. She began performing at age six. Her family moved to California in 1997 and lived in Los Angeles before moving to Texas in 2012. Lukasiak graduated from Liberty High School in 2015, where she was a cheerleader and a member of the school's drill team for four years.
Lukasiak began taking dance lessons at age six and began competing in dance competitions by age seven. She was a member of the junior National Dance Team, which competed in the North American Junior Latin Dance Championships in 2000 and 2001. She also danced in short dance competitions, including the National Youth Latin American Dance Championships in 2001. In 2002, she won the American National Solo Dance Competition, which was held at Walt Disney World. Lukasiak won a scholarship to a dance camp in Florida but her family moved back to California because her father was being transferred to a new job.
