I’m one of those oddballs that thinks that introverts are not necessarily quiet or shy but rather can be loud and outspoken.
The point I’m trying to make is just because introverts aren’t necessarily quiet doesn’t mean they aren’t introverted.
It’s just that they are capable of talking and listening and not just “being in” their heads all the time. If you’ve attended a meeting of an introverted individual you will probably find that they are more comfortable talking about themselves than if they were talking to someone who is extroverted. This is because they perceive it as a clear and simple communication and not an evaluation of their worth as a person. They are also more comfortable expressing their emotions and thoughts in writing as opposed to speaking aloud.
Introverts are often very skilled at listening and observing and have excellent memories. These traits make them very adept at being “in the know” on various topics.
