Shylock personality type is ISTJ, or the "Inspector." Although I'm not a third-party observer, I am a layperson observer, and I have been on both sides of the ISTJ personality type. I have been a contractor for a NASA contractor for a few years now. I am currently a systems engineer working on a project that involves a lot of coordination and oversight. On the other hand, I have also been a janitor at NASA for the past 8 years. I have had all kinds of experience working on many different projects, some of which were more complex than others.
It is important to understand that personal experience is not all there is to "knowing" about the ISTJ personality type. There are many books and articles written about ISTJ personality types by various authors. After reading many of these articles, I found that I was able to better understand my own personality type and how it matched up with the descriptions of other people's types.
