Umihebi personality type is ESTP, which means I'm very much in-tune with the world. If you have a problem, I'm going to have to be involved in solving it. I'm very curious and I'm always trying to understand how things work. I get my energy from being around people who are really motivated and really smart. So if I'm going to be around somebody who's an INTP, I'm going to become more of an INTP. If I'm going to be around somebody who's an INTJ, I'm going to become more of an INTJ.
My dad and I are both in the computer industry, and we work for a very large company. My dad was very much the head of the family, which is why we moved from Massachusetts to California. My mom was what you would call the "domestic" type and the "mom" type. She was very much like an introverted ESTJ, which is why I think that a lot of my personality could come from my mom and my father.
I've heard a lot of people say that they're influenced by their parents, but I think that's sort of a silly thing to say.
