History
Kakyō was born in the city of Shinjuku. He had an older brother named Ryū, who died when he was young. A year after Ryū's death, Kakyō's mother became pregnant with another child, but was attacked by a group of ninjas while she was out playing. Her son was sent to live with his aunt, while she died from her injuries. Kakyō's aunt then took him into the streets, where he eventually joined up with the Yakuza.
When Kakyō received word that his mother had died, he visited her grave, where he met Atsuya, who was visiting the grave. After this, Atsuya began working with him to take down the Yakuza, who had murdered his brother.
Kakyō (歌匡) was a Soul, and a member of the Gotei 13 under an unknown division. She had married into the Tsunayashiro Family when she wed Tokinada Tsunayashiro, only to be killed by him. In the past, Kakyō was the friend of Kaname Tōsen.
