ISFJs are typically warm and affectionate, and they focus their energy on making sure others' needs are met. They have a strong desire to help others, and they often become so focused on this desire that they neglect their own needs.
ISFJs are often uneasy when others disregard their feelings or expectations, or when they do not receive the recognition or respect they believe they deserve. They will often feel hurt, angry, or even betrayed when this happens, and they may become withdrawn and depressed. When they become aware of this, however, ISFJs can learn to recognize that they have a deficit in their own needs and that it is not the other person's responsibility to take care of them.
In some cases, ISFJ's poor self-esteem can cause them to become over-dramatic and overly sensitive about the opinions of others. They will make a mountain out of a molehill, and will often attempt to control how others think about them.
