Luke Valentine personality type is ISTP, and the type that has the most in common with the character is ISTP. I’d be happy to start a thread on Valentine and his personality and the type that best fits him and his personality and how it could be applied to other fictional characters.
I like what you said about the personality types and how they were used as a foundation for the personality. While I agree, I think they should be more officially recognized as personality types and not as personality variations as they are now.
I’ve been having a bit of trouble with this myself as I’m an INFJ and I was very frustrated with the fact that the site only recognizes the MBTI.
I was also irritated at why INFJ is not officially recognized by MBTI. But, I am able to get around it because of the way the site is set up. I use the “INTJ” tag on my forum profile to get around it.
But, I would like it if more people did that. I think it would be helpful for people to use the official name of the test when discussing their results.
I guess it depends on what you’re looking for in your type.
