Evra personality type is ENFP, and I’ve been in a relationship with an ENFP for almost 7 years.
Anyway, the ENFP I’ve been dating for the past 7 years is definitely a type 5, but the ENFP I’m currently seeing is a type 7.
I can’t say that there was ever any real conflict between the two personalities, but it was definitely like going through a period of adjustment as he went through his type 7 growth spurt.
I’m not sure if this is common, or even typical, but it fits with my personal experience.
I think that the reason this happens is because personality types are not static.
As you grow and mature, your dominant function will tend to become more dominant, and you need to be careful that you don’t go through some kind of type zero or type 4 phase.
The main idea here is that when you grow and mature from any particular type it will tend to move towards a particular trait and eventually become more dominant.
