I once wrote a blog post about the “Creator’s Dilemma” which I am going to re-post here. It’s a great explanation of the mindset of the INTJ who faces the Herculean task of balancing between using their imagination and working out a problem.
The Creator’s Dilemma
The INTJ’s defining characteristics are creativity and intelligence. In their youth, INTJs are often regarded as arrogant and aloof. They are often the most intelligent of their peer group and are often seen as a challenge to get along with. This is because they are more interested in pursuing original ideas than focusing on their peers. They also have a tendency to be a bit shy and reserved, which is a trait that only some of their peers will understand.
The Creator is a rare INTJ who is able to balance their creativity with the practical aspects of life. They have a deep understanding of science and physics, but also have enough imagination to draw on to see things from a different perspective.
