Amane personality type is ISTJ, so it's the "typical" in terms of Jung's archetypes, in that it's what most people would expect. But I also think in some cases it's quite fitting. For example, when I was younger I was constantly getting into arguments with people about things that I thought were very important, even when my argument wasn't based on any logical reason. And when I was in my teens, I constantly argued for things that I thought were very important even though they were not very important at all. So my various arguments with people were always about issues that I thought were important.
I think ESFJ is more accurate in many cases too. It's not that I'm saying one is more accurate than the other. I think both are correct, in different cases. But since everyone has a different set of examples, I think your examples are more apt to fit with ESFJ than ISTJ.
