He is also known for creating the anime series "Shangri-La" (2002), "Witch Hunter Robin" (2005-2007), and "The Seven Deadly Sins" (2013-2015). Sato was born on February 25, 1971, in Japan. He studied at the Waseda University of Fine Arts and Music, graduating in 1995. He used to do illustrations for the school newspaper, but he wasn't satisfied with his work. He then decided to go into manga. He debuted in 1998 with "A Certain Magical Index". Since then, he has been known as one of the most successful Japanese creators in the anime industry, credited for creating a total of 214 anime episodes.
