Clyde Blackburn personality type is ESTP, with some ESFP and ENFP traits.

He's probably one of the most well-known and talked about ESTP characters, who got his start in an episode of The Simpsons back in season 3, titled "The Springfield Connection". His appearance was a parody of Adam Sandler's character from The Waterboy.

He was played by David Herman and brought to life by Dan Castellaneta. One of the most memorable scenes from that episode was when he was trying to get the family dog to go to sleep.

He was a typical loudmouth and self-centered character, who was always giving orders and "helping" others, while making it seem like he was actually doing it out of the goodness of his heart.

In the episode, the family dog got run over by the garbage truck and didn't make it, so Homer had to go out and get his beloved pet back from the veterinarian.

After getting the dog back and having to pay for the surgery for it, Homer was left with a little more than $20. He decided to give the rest to his son Bart because he hadn't gotten him any presents this year.
