Kotoura Kumiko personality type is ISTP, which is often confused with ISTJ, but they are different. Ego is not as strong as the other two functions. They are the least individualistic of the four functions, and are more likely to be loyal to a group or organization than to an individual. However, their loyalty to a group or organization is rarely self-sacrificing. ISTPs are usually very capable of being impartial in their judgments, but this is not always the case. They are not as good at judging the motives of others as they are at judging the situation.
Kumiko is an excellent example of an ISTP type because she is loyal to her friends, but also to her company, which is also her family. Her best friend is Saki, who she has known since high school.
