Boethius personality type is INFJ, which is the most introverted and mystical of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types.
In The Philosophy of Boethius, Richard McKeon describes the INFJ personality type as follows:
[The INFJ] is a quiet, reflective, and sensitive personality. In this type there is a particularly strong bent toward introspection and subjective states. Self-knowledge for INFJs is a major preoccupation. The INFJ wants to understand his own motivations and emotions. He also wants to understand the inner workings of other people, and to know if they are really as different from himself as they may appear at first glance. For this reason INFJs often have a definite interest in psychology and in the psychological orientation. [24]
In his book, She Comes First: The Thinking Man's Guide to Pleasuring a Woman, Daryush Valizadeh describes his own INFJ personality type as follows:
My personality type is INFJ which stands for Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging. INFJs are reserved, focused, and somewhat mysterious in private. In public, however, at least in my experience, INFJs tend to be outgoing and direct in a gentle manner.
Anicius Manlius Severinus Boëthius,[a] commonly called Boethius[b] (/boʊˈiːθiəs/; also Boetius /-ʃəs/; c. 477 – 524 AD), was a Roman senator, consul, magister officiorum, and philosopher of the early 6th century. He was born about a year after Odoacer deposed the last Western Roman Emperor and declared himself King of Italy. Boethius entered public service under Ostrogothic King Theodoric the Great, who later imprisoned and executed him in 524 on charges of conspiracy to overthrow him.[4] While jailed, Boethius composed his Consolation of Philosophy, a philosophical treatise on fortune, death, and other issues, which became one of the most popular and influential works of the Middle Ages.
