Leonard Testarossa personality type is INTJ, so I'm in agreement with your analysis. However, in my own case, I hold the common misconception that because I'm an INTJ, I must be extraverted. I was in an INTJ-P relationship for many years with a man who was a true INTJ. He's a type 5, so he's a very quiet, thoughtful person. But he also had a hard time being outgoing and social, so we never really got to have a relationship based on being outgoing and social together.
When it comes to relationships, I am the outgoing one, and not only am I very extroverted, but I also have a very strong need to be liked and accepted by my friends and family. I have a great deal of difficulty making myself available to my friends and family simply because I am so self-conscious of how they might judge me. I always worry that they will think poorly of me, and I want them to like me. But as a result, they don't, and I feel lonely and alone.
It takes a great deal of energy for me to make myself available to others, and this is the energy I don't have to spare for myself.
