Gideon Hask personality type is ISTJ, and the impression I formed of him was that he was an exceedingly rational, straightforward, and conscientious person, a little stiff to start with. He was the most confident of the group, probably because he had been trained in the military to be a leader. He was the one, for example, who thought it best to begin our walk immediately, and to begin the questioning as soon as we were outside.
I was surprised that he seemed to find it so important that we begin walking immediately. For me, at least, my first concern was settling myself and allowing myself to become totally present to this new experience. I wanted to be able to make the most of whatever it was I was about to learn about myself. This was my first real opportunity to do that in my life.
I also found it peculiar that he made it a condition that we continue to walk; I would have thought that if you started walking towards something, you were more likely to continue doing so.
His suggestion that we make some small talk and then begin the walk seemed a little odd to me as well.
