I think that most of them (that I know of) are not aware of their type, which is fine because it’s not like they aren’t aware of their own actions or thoughts or feelings, they just seem to be oblivious to the fact that everyone else is too.

The most common career for this type is to be an actor/actress/singer, though I’ve also heard of some doctors and lawyers. They also do quite well in the artistic fields, although I’ve never heard of one who made it as a professional artist.
