Kodama “M” personality type is ENFJ, so I was familiar with the type and had some understanding of its strengths. I also knew that the ENFJ was a leader/manager, so I figured she’d be used to being in charge and having people around her. That made me feel safe to be around her.
I also thought she’d be good to help me study for exams and prepare for interviews. But I guess I was wrong about that, too. On the second day of our study session, she was talking about an English essay question that had come up in class. She was telling me about the correct answers, then going through the essay with me.
I said to her, “You don’t have to do that. I can tell you how to do it myself.”
She looked at me blankly. “But it’s easier to learn from someone else.”
That’s when it hit me: She was a “teacher” type! She told me to go home and study instead of hanging out with her.
