She has been a pathfinder in her field. When people first started using computers, she was the one who got them business computers. She was always the one who organized stuff, always the one who took care of things. I can’t think of a time when she didn’t have to serve as the glue in our family. We all depend on her for that.
My mother has been so good to me and my sisters and brothers, yet she has had to deal with all of us at different times in our lives. She has had to deal with us being teenagers, with us having children, and with us forgetting to send checks.
She has done all of this while trying to build a life for herself and a career for herself. Even with all of that, it is hard for me to think of her as anything but a loving mother and wife.
