Queen Elizabeth I of England Personality Type, MBTI

What is the personality type of Queen Elizabeth I of England? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Queen Elizabeth I of England from Blackadder and what is the personality traits.

    Queen Elizabeth I of England
    ENFP

    ENFP (8w7)

Queen Elizabeth I of England personality type is ENFP, so the Queen would be an empathy type.

However, in the film, she has her own agenda and feels no compunction about using the powers of the crown to achieve her goal. She is willing to use her position of power to kill off people, which is not something that the ENFP would do.

Therefore, for the sake of maintaining accuracy, I think that the ENFP was not the right type to portray the Queen.

I think that the next best option would have been an INTP, who are known for their cool head, humor, and intellectual curiosity.

Moreover, while we don’t know much about the Queen’s personality type, we do know that she was not an INTP. She was a cold and calculating individual who did not seem like a very warm and friendly person (see here and here).

As such, I think that the INTP was also an unlikely choice to portray Her Majesty. She would have been portrayed as cold and calculating.

Instead, I think that the best option for this role would have been the INTJ, who are known for their love of logic and systems.

Elizabeth I was Queen of England and Ireland from 17 November 1558 until her death on 24 March 1603. Sometimes called the Virgin Queen, Gloriana or Good Queen Bess, Elizabeth was the last of the five monarchs of the House of Tudor. Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, his second wife, who was executed two-and-a-half years after Elizabeth's birth. Anne's marriage to Henry VIII was annulled, and Elizabeth was declared illegitimate. Her half-brother, Edward VI, ruled until his death in 1553, bequeathing the crown to Lady Jane Grey and ignoring the claims of his two half-sisters, the Roman Catholic Mary and the younger Elizabeth, in spite of statute law to the contrary. Edward's will was set aside and Mary became queen, deposing Lady Jane Grey. During Mary's reign, Elizabeth was imprisoned for nearly a year on suspicion of supporting Protestant rebels. In 1558 upon Mary's death, Elizabeth succeeded her half-sister to the throne and set out to rule by good counsel.
