When I was around seven or eight years old, my parents started to go on holiday to the coast, and their child-care services hired a lady to look after me. She was kind and friendly, and she noticed that I was shy and unsociable. She welcomed me into her home, made me feel welcome and loved, and she started to teach me how to be more outgoing.
Her name was Anna, and she was from Poland. She knew my parents from the coast, and when my parents left for their holidays she stayed with me during the day. She would tell me about Poland, about how beautiful it was there, about the food, about her family and how much she loved them.
