Dobby personality type is ENFP, and is derived from the fictional character Dobby, a free elf in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Although Dobby is a decidedly non-human, and thus not an example of a "real" personality type, it's probably the closest we'll get to a canonical personality type for that character.
In the Harry Potter series, Dobby is a house-elf who was enslaved by Bellatrix Lestrange. He eventually comes to trust Harry Potter and Sirius Black when they rescue him from being used in a torture chamber in Malfoy Manor. He also serves as an animagus. He dies in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows after attempting to stop Harry in a duel with Bellatrix Lestrange in Malfoy Manor, in a very similar fashion to a death in the real world.
