I’m not going to pretend that this is a perfect fit between characters and type, but it does let me find a few interesting things about the writer:
The main character, Chris, is an ISTJ. He’s a bit of a jerk and a bit of an idiot, but he’s not bad. He’s fun to read, and his ability to be a bit of a jerk and have fun with it makes him all the more enjoyable.
The author is an INTP. This explains the writing style; it’s pretty atypical for me, and I like it, but I’m not sure it’s really my writing style. In any case, I like reading about people who don’t fit the stereotypes for their types and can be interesting characters.
The main character’s girlfriend, Sarah, is a lot like me—an INTJ. She’s smart, a good student, focused, and goal-oriented.
