Karl Marx personality type is INTJ, but in his case there was a strong Ne trait present. He was an extremely hard worker and very efficient in whatever he did. He once said, "On the other hand, I am not lazy, but I can't do things quickly." He worked very hard to complete his work, only taking breaks to rest. Anyone who works this hard will have enough energy to do pretty much anything. He was also intelligent, but he had a tendency to get carried away in ideas and get his views across too strongly. He would become so hard on himself because he felt he wasn't being productive enough.
As for his strengths, he was very good at thinking through problems and seeing all sides of them. He was also very good at reading people and seeing things from their perspective. He was good at making connections between things and at seeing how they connected together. He was an excellent organizer and he made good use of his Ne function by organizing people into groups that were able to work together to accomplish tasks. He was also known to be an excellent leader. He had a great deal of confidence in his abilities because of his Ne function.
As for weaknesses, he did not have much patience for details.
