Vassilios Karas is an actor, director, theatrical producer and author. He was born in Athens, Greece. He has studied Political Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has also studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. He has worked on stage in Athens, New York (USA) and Paris, France.
His career began in theatre, where he staged original plays by Greek playwright Nikos Kazantzakis, and continued on screen with an appearance in the film "The Forty Days of Spring" (1970) by Theo Angelopoulos.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis (Greek: Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης; born 4 March 1968) is a Greek politician who is the Prime Minister of Greece. He has been the President of the New Democracy party since 2016, and served as the Leader of the Opposition to 2016 until 8 July 2019. Additionally, he previously served as Minister of Administrative Reformfrom 2013 to 2015. He was first elected to the Hellenic Parliament for the Athens B constituency in 2004. On July 7, 2019, his party won the 2019 National Elections - securing 158 seats to form a majority government. He is the son of former Prime Minister Konstantinos Mitsotakis.
