I can hear the sounds of a crowd coming up the stairs. I am not entirely sure what I should be doing, what is expected of me, but I know that I should be doing something. My boss, a high ranking officer, has just finished giving a speech that he began an hour ago. He looks tired, his clothes are rumpled, and his hair is mussed. He looks nothing like a person who has just made an important speech. Rather, he looks like the person who has just run through the halls of his office and thrown papers all over the floor. I look at him with pity and think “Awww…”
