Chiang Kai-shek personality type is ISTJ, which is consistent with his experience in the Chinese warlord period (he was young, loyal, and well-connected to the Kuomintang). The N in type gives me a little more insight into his personality.
Chiang was not the most well-liked personality type in general. His personality was not very extroverted, but he was quite sociable (S). He was loyal (J), and he took the loyalty of those around him seriously. He had a sense of duty and order (T). He was conscientious (N), and he would do what he had to do. But his N was not very creative (NT), and he wasn’t very good with abstract concepts (IN).
So who is he? I think that Chiang was more like an ESTP or ESFP; he was a charismatic leader, but not one that would be seen as warm and fuzzy. At some point, I will update this part of the personality inventory to reflect the effects of the SP assessment.
Chiang Kai-shek (31 October 1887 – 5 April 1975), also known as Generalissimo Chiang or Chiang Chungcheng and romanized as Chiang Chieh-shih or Jiang Jieshi, was a Chinese politician and military leader who served as the leader of the Republic of China between 1928 and 1975, first in mainland China until 1949 and then in Taiwan until his death. He was recognized by much of the world as the head of the legitimate government of China until 1971, during which the United Nations passed Resolution 2758.
