Robert Mugabe personality type is ENTJ, and his leadership style is ENTJ, and I'm sure you can see where this is going.
(For the record, I still think Joseph Stalin should be the entj dictator of choice, but I'm not here to talk about that.)
There's a lot to unpack here, but let's start with the obvious: he's a dictator.
He's not just a dictator, either: he's the only dictator in history who has been awarded the Order of Zimbabwe.
He's also known to have used torture, his own intelligence agency to spy on political rivals, and the police to enforce his will. He's also been accused of making his own daughter an example in order to send a message to anyone else who might think of trying to run against him. He's even accused of having his generals execute people he didn't like, which is kind of like taking your spouse's life into your own hands because you're not sure how they'd react if they found out about it.
And then there's the whole "his wife being in charge of his country" thing.
Robert Gabriel Mugabe (1924 - 2019) was a Zimbabwean revolutionary and politician who served as Prime Minister of Zimbabwe from 1980 to 1987 and then as President from 1987 to 2017. Ideologically an African nationalist, during the 1970s and 1980s he identified as a Marxist–Leninist, although after the 1990s self-identified only as a socialist. His policies have been described as Mugabeism.As Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, Mugabe's administration expanded healthcare and education and—despite his professed Marxist desire for a socialist society—adhered largely to mainstream, conservative economic policies. Pursuing decolonisation, Mugabe emphasised the redistribution of land controlled by white farmers to landless blacks, initially on a "willing seller–willing buyer" basis. Frustrated at the slow rate of redistribution, from 2000 he encouraged black Zimbabweans to violently seize white-owned farms.
