I am an ENFP myself, so I hope you can understand why I am concerned about this, but you should take my concern seriously. When the parent’s type doesn’t match the ENFP, there are many problems that can arise.
First of all, I will refer to the ENFP type as “Personality Type”. For convenience, I will use “Type” to refer to “Personality Type”. The first thing that people should take note of is that the ENFP “Type” has 8 subtypes, not 4. However, ENFPs who don’t know their Type (which means they don’t know themselves well enough), may only know the 4 subtypes directly.
