Karan Kumar Johar, often informally referred to as KJo, is an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, costume designer, actor and television personality who works in Hindi films. He is the son of Hiroo Johar and the producer Yash Johar.
Johar has been criticized for supporting nepotism by casting children of established Bollywood stars in his films, and not supporting industry newcomers.
Johar was first accused of this by Kangana Ranaut on the talk show Koffee With Karan.
