Mamoru Hosoda personality type is INFP, which is my favorite personality type. Because of this I felt like I was able to see the world through the eyes of an INFP, which was really interesting.
I also really liked the cast of characters. I found that most of them had their own reason for doing what they do and I like that about them, even if it wasn't necessarily the most realistic.
There's also one character that's very memorable to me, even though he only appears for about 5 minutes.
The fact that I could connect with this anime so strongly is probably why I enjoyed it so much.
This anime is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated anime I've ever seen. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys this genre of anime.
I've also heard people describe it as a coming of age story, however I don't think that's what it really is. To me it's more about the characters and the themes the anime brings up, rather than a coming of age story.
I watched this anime a few years ago and it's one of my all time favorites.
