The Tsar’s personality type is also confirmed by several interpretations of the character’s actions. He was very kind and generous, but somewhat naive about the world. He believed that he could control the world around him, but he couldn’t.
As an INFJ, I identify with his naivete, but I also have a hard time with his belief that he could control the world. It is one of those things about myself that I cannot change, even though I know I am wrong.
He tried to be a good person, but he was not very good at it. He never got to know himself well enough to actually do something about his problems. He didn’t realize that he was supposed to learn about himself in order to change, and that by trying to control everything else, he was actually getting in his own way.
I think the final episode of the show was about this very thing. The Tsar was able to see his mistakes. He learned to be more aware of how he was acting, and he was able to take steps to change it.
