The first time I ever saw this series was on TV and I was immediately hooked. It had everything in it: action, drama, humour, and a really interesting main character.
I actually have never finished the manga, but I've read the first 12 episodes of the anime, and I really loved it. I wanted to watch the rest, but I couldn't find them anywhere, so... I had to find a DVD somewhere. The DVD I found did not have English subtitles, but after watching for only a few minutes, I discovered that in English anyways. The voices were great and I was already hooked.
I'm not usually into action shows, but this one was different. It was not all action, it had lots of drama and humour in it, which kept me watchig.
I can't say enough good things about this series.
