Ember personality type is INFJ, and I believe it is the most accurate.
I wanted to be a normal kid, but I was a total introvert. I was a very shy person and I was completely different from everyone else. This made for an extremely lonely childhood, because I was never able to connect with anyone. I never knew how to handle my emotions, so I didn’t know how to express them in a way that would make people actually listen to what I had to say.
I remember thinking one day that I should go out more, but it was hard for me to do so. I was scared of what people would think of me, afraid of what they’d say, and anxious about how they’d respond to me.
My shyness put a huge damper on all of my relationships, and no matter how hard I tried, it seemed impossible for me to make any friends.
This led to a lot of loneliness and isolation. I grew up thinking that being socially awkward was something I would always be, but then I made it my mission to change that.
I set out to learn different ways to communicate with people and to understand how to be more comfortable in social situations.
