They want to lead by example, which can make them tough to rein in when morale is low or when they feel they need to prove themselves. When they feel their highest calling is to protect the innocent, to vanquish evil, they will fight to the death.
ESTPs are generally very good at their jobs, but have an even shorter fuse than other types. Because they are so good at their jobs, they are often promoted to the point where they are the boss. This means that they have no time to learn how to do their job, because their job is to get things done.
