Crossbowman personality type is ISTJ, as is to be expected. The only slight difference is that the Archer character type is ESFJ.
An Archer does not choose the bow and arrow as their weapon. If a character type chooses the same weapon now, that character type doesn’t become a bowman. Instead, they use the other weapon. The Archer may be primarily a bowman or primarily a crossbowman.
Archers are on average more faithful than other personality types.
Archers are more authentic, since they are willing to give up the weapons of their profession. Archer characters have an advantage over other character types in being able to handle themselves well in a fight, since they are so used to it. They also have an advantage in that they can use blunt weapons in close combat. In open combat, they can use ranged weapons, and they can use blunt weapons in melee.
Archers are more representative of the “normal” person. That is, there are no archers in the world that you would call “characters”.
However, archers can become more than just normal people that can shoot arrows.
