Grubber personality type is ESFP, but I am a better match for an INFJ. I also wonder if my anxiety is a result of a Fe ENFP.
What she said. I’ve been an INFJ all my life and it’s been a nightmare. I’ve been to 10 therapists and been medicated for depression and anxiety since I was a teenager. It’s not fun to be a broken person who can’t truly enjoy anything. I know what you mean, but it’s hard to pinpoint the cause. My parents were quite abusive and my brother and I shared a room growing up. We each had our own toys but we shared our bed and we both had paranoia that the other slept with our toys or monitored us at night. I think that may have formed my anxiety.
I’ve always been a very anxious person, but it got worse when I got older. I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and anxiety, and it’s been a real struggle to overcome the two emotions. I guess it’s just not appropriate to say that INFJs are bad at dealing with anxiety, but we do have a hard time with it.
