They don’t need to know how many kids you have or what your job is or why you’re single. That’s not what is important to them. They don’t care about that stuff.
They care about the things that are important to them, and they just want to get on with their lives, do their own thing, and they don’t want to be bothered with small talk. And the reason they don’t want to be bothered with it is because it’s useless to them.
