The game follows the adventures of a boy named Titus and his band of golems. The game is set in the world of Arad and is heavily inspired by ancient Greece.
The player is Titus (voiced by Aaron Phagura, who was also the voice of Micah from ""), a young boy living in a cave with his band of golems. Titus is obsessed with uncovering the powerful secret behind the creation of golems, but he is unaware that this quest is a trap set by an evil witch named Malphas (voiced by Melissa Fahn). Malphas wants to use Titus' golems to conquer the world, and she has enlisted the help of another evil witch named Eris (voiced by Laura Bailey). Eris is determined to gain control of Titus' golems and use them to dominate the world, and she wants Titus to get in her way. Titus must navigate his way through several dungeons in order to fulfill his quest and defeat Malphas.
Titus has three golems at his disposal:
Apocryphos (隠された者(アポクリフォス)) is a special, independent, sentient Innocence that exists for the specific purpose of protecting the Heart. Until recently, it has kept itself concealed within the Order, under the guise of an Unnamed Cardinal. He has stated that his new goal is to absorb Allen Walker making him the secondary antagonist of the series. He served as the main antagonist of the Seed of Destruction Arc and a primary one of the Searching for Allen Walker Arc.
