Fred Jones personality type is ENFJ, which is one of the 16 types in the Myers-Briggs personality test. I was really surprised that they didn’t have that in the book, because ENFJ is one of my favorites. I love that they went out of their way to make sure that it was portrayed in the book.
The one thing that I found really hard to understand in the book was the role of the ENFJ with regards to the ISFJ in their relationship. I’ve read some other books in which the ISFJ plays a role in the relationship, but in this particular book it seems like they don’t really know what they want. The ENFJ feels like he’s in love with her, but she doesn’t feel like she loves him back. And that’s great, because that’s how I feel about my relationship with my husband. We’ve been together for 10 years, and we haven’t had sex yet. We’ve had our ups and downs, but we still haven’t had sex yet. So, I was happy to see it portrayed as well as it was in this book.
