“I was constantly being told to be more social,” he says. “I was always shy, but I was also super into my books. I loved reading, I loved learning, and I really wanted to learn about everything in the world.”
But it wasn’t until he started high school that Chesney realized his true personality type.
“I actually didn’t start becoming more outgoing until I started high school,” he explains. “And then it was a like a mind shift and the whole world opened up for me. I just got more comfortable with myself and opened up more as a person and it was something I could do more freely.”
As a result, Chesney became even more of a social butterfly. He was able to make friends from all over the country and even in other countries.
