Pete Puma personality type is ESFP, but for some reason I am more INFP than ESFP. I'm just wondering why NPD is so common in ESFPs? is it because they are more willing to be selfish than INFPs?
You are correct that NPD is more common in ESFPs. I believe the reason is that ESFPs are more likely to be naturally extraverted, which gives them a naturally inflated sense of self (extraversion). ESFPs also have a fairly weak understanding of empathy, which makes it easier for them to treat others badly without realizing it.

Hi Julia, I've got an ESFJ mother with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). My mother has not always been like this, but I feel like she became that way by the time I was 11 or 12. She seemed to be very emotional at first, but then she started talking back to my father, and he would say things like "you can't talk to me like that." She seemed very emotional at the time, but she didn't seem to have any personality problems.
