Both were very much interested in the future – how people were going to live, work and travel in 100 years. In fact, now let me tell you about the time my parents visited our Philadelphia office in the late 70s and asked me to predict the future – “What will the Jetsons be doing?” It was an interesting time for me because I was developing a new theory of personality typing based on Jungian psychology, which was then in its infancy.
My theory of personality typing was based on Jung’s theory of psychological types. Psychological types are based on the same physiological process that we use to classify animals into species – our brains organize information about people into perceptions of categories and subcategories that can be thought of as different “species” of people.
